Life in the Burg in January!

this is a real challenge, but with a camera and a warm coat, one can keep busy with shots of the wildlife and winter scenes. I especially like to shoot with the camera, the various birds that frequent our house on the York River. I will try to attach a couple if I can figure this out!

I have recently retired from teaching on the college level and have found my place shooting photography in my southern town and in travels from Maine to Hawaii. I find sunrise and sunsets to be the most challenging and the most fun too!

I have also unofficially shot two weddings, one of which was my daughter's wedding in Charleston, South Carolina. That was more fun than a sunset almost. the second wedding took place on Hatteras, North Carolina and was quite unique. I have learned a lot about weddings. Rule one: you have to be fast on your feet and fingers! Rule two: Candid shots are as well received.
